Photographer hobbyist based in Little Nairobi, CA.

Born and raised in the Bay Area, I got my first camera at age 11. My father’s gifts always included at least one tech item from Radio Shack, and on my 11th birthday I received a small, pink 110mm point and shoot camera. My first adventure using it was on a camping trip that next summer at Camp Unilayaye. I remember trying to beat the sunrise and catch the earliest rays coming over the horizon. My budding love of nature and photography grew from there. My first real travel experience was when my mom took our family of five to West Africa. I was 8 years old. On my second trip to Africa at age 13, I had that same 110mm camera and used it to capture moments abroad. Since then, whether seeking nature or a new place to explore, a camera is always by my side.

As a budding photographer, my hobby is a love that allows me to capture unforgettable moments frozen in time. From naturescapes to personalities captured in still form, my photos are an extension of my connection to God’s creations. With a desire to be better at my craft, to capture even more iconic and treasured moments, and to blog about the memories created along the way, I created this space to be one of reflection and inspiration - my diary of the past and present, and a muse for the future.

I invite you to peruse the photo gallery and blog. If you so desire, you can send a love offering of encouragement to keep up the good work or purchase a print (or more) that tickled your photo feathers.

Please contact me directly for projects or to inquire about purchasing prints.
